Work with us

Bring us your biggest challenges.

Are you wrestling with slow delivery, quality gaps, or maybe a transformation initiative that’s stuck? Perhaps your teams are working hard, but somehow that effort isn’t translating into tangible outcomes? If so, you’re not alone.

We can help. We work with technology leaders and their teams to untangle problems like these using the systems thinking tools in Signals & Levers. Together, we help you see what’s happening across your organization and find the levers to create lasting change.

Apply Signals & Levers in your organization.

Put the book to work with the people who wrote it. We’ll help your team see the connections, question assumptions, and choose experiments that help you learn what works in your organization. Start with a focused workshop to learn the tools, spend a few weeks working through a specific challenge, or bring us onsite to help put change into motion. Each offers a different level of involvement, depending on what you want to accomplish.

We’ll work with you to choose the scope and pace that fit your situation.

Private workshop

See your organization differently

Half or full day · Virtual only
For one organization, up to approximately 20 participants

Bring your leadership team together for an interactive introduction to the systems thinking tools in Signals & Levers. We facilitate exercises and discussion to help participants look beyond symptoms and recognize the forces shaping their results.

Your team practices identifying feedback loops, constraints, and hidden dependencies, examining the unintended consequences of decisions, and framing proposed changes as experiments.

Your team leaves with a shared set of tools for examining organizational problems and discussing where to intervene.

Facilitated working engagement

Work through a specific challenge

Virtual only
Typically completed over 2–3 weeks, including preparation

Bring a delivery or organizational problem you need to understand before deciding what to change. This engagement includes preparation using information from your organization, a series of facilitated leadership working sessions, and a final experiment plan.

With your team, we build a working model of the feedback loops, constraints, incentives, and decisions affecting the problem. We compare possible explanations against what you’re seeing in practice and explore potential interventions before choosing experiments to run.

You leave with a model of your system, a focused experiment plan, and the signals to watch as your team puts that plan into practice.

Intensive onsite engagement

Change your system

Focused prework, an intensive onsite week, and a regular cadence of follow up in virtual sessions.

For a consequential problem that has resisted previous improvement efforts, we work onsite with your senior leaders and teams. Before we arrive, we gather information about your environment. During the week, we investigate through interviews, observation, and data, with leadership working sessions throughout.

We test the initial understanding of the problem against evidence from across the organization and share what we’re finding as we go. With your leaders, we identify promising interventions, create an execution plan, and help get an experiment underway before we leave.

After the onsite week, we meet virtually to review what changed, what didn’t, and what you learned. Those sessions help your team decide how to adapt the experiment and what to try next.

Your team gains a shared understanding of the problem, an experiment in progress, and an execution plan supported by follow-up sessions.

Let’s talk about your situation.

You don’t need to choose an engagement before we talk. Bring the challenge, the stakes, and what you’ve tried so far. Together, we can determine what kind of involvement would be useful.
